The Brand Foundry has been working closely with Gold Industry Group since 2019 on a range of projects to help them support and grow their initiatives. To date we have worked on over 280 materials including publications, brand execution and digital advertisements.

Background & Creative Solutions

The Gold Industry Group is a not-for-profit organisation representing leading companies in the Australian gold industry. Their mission is to promote and support the growth and sustainability of the gold sector, and to provide a unified voice for the industry. Through a range of initiatives and partnerships, they aim to showcase the importance of the gold industry to Australia’s economy and communities, and to foster collaboration and innovation within the sector.

Creating brand assets that are in line with the brand style guide and range between fun, informative and corporate can produce some unique challenges, and great care is always required to ensure all new materials look on brand. This challenge can be particularly prevalent in materials that touch on the Gold Industry Group’s education program, corporate membership, jobs & careers platform and community engagement (such as netball sponsorship) at the same time.

We have helped Gold Industry Group expand and refine their corporate brand guidelines, including an extended colour palette, illustration and iconography styles and fully communicated use cases for each to ensure consistent application across all mediums. We have worked closely with them on over 380 projects including brochures, trail maps, short publications and animated digital advertisements.

The Brand Foundry is engaged by WIMWA every year to design a variety of materials for their annual summit, mentoring program and networking events. We have also assisted them in refining their brand and helping it convey a message of empowerment and diversity.
